【摘要】:RigidfoamsuchasRCPSisusedinthebuildingconstructionindustry.Becauseitissensitivetocertaincomponentscontainedinadhesiveswhichcauseittodissolve,itisimportanttohaveatestmethodtodeterminewhetheranadhesiveiscompatiblewithRCPSfoam.ThistestmethodwouldhelptheenduserdecidewhichadhesivetousewithRCPSfoambyquantitativelymeasuringtheamountofcavitationformedbythecomponentscontainedintheadhesive.1.1Thistestmethodcoversapracticalmeansofmeasuringthedegreeofrigidcellularpolystyrene(RCPS)foamcavitationdamagewhenanadhesiveisusedtobondthissubstrate.1.2Thevaluesstatedininchpoundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
