【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofthefrictioncoefficientandthelifetimeofoilsandgreases,whentestedonastandardspecimenunderspecifiedconditionsofpreparation,speed,Hertzianstress,materials,temperature,andatmosphere,bymeansoftheSpiralOrbitTribometer(SOT).Thistestmethodisintendedprimarilyasanevaluationofthelifetimesoffluidlubricantsundervacuumandambientconditions.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
